Launching Fighting inequalities poverty and exclusion Subcomponent

Civil Society development Foundation is publishing the Guidelines and specific annexes for Fighting inequalities poverty and exclusion Subcomponent from SOCIAL JUSTICE Component, within Round 1 of the NGO Fund, part of the EEA Financial Mechanism 2009-2014, funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway.

 

The general objective of the SOCIAL JUSTICE Component is to contribute to combating social exclusion and reducing disparities within society and between various groups of society.

 

Component 2 - SOCIAL JUSTICE has two Subcomponents:

Subcomponent 2.1. Rural interethnic communities development (for which it is going to be launched a separate Application Guide)

Subcomponent 2.2. Fighting inequalities poverty and exclusion, which is the subject of this Call for Letters of Intent.

The specific objective of Sub-Component Fighting social inequalities, poverty and exclusion is to generate systemic changes for combating social inequalities, more specifically to propose measures to combat poverty and address causes of social exclusion, leading to a more socially just environment and decisions vital to achieve social justice.

 

The total allocation for this Subcomponent under the first round of Call for proposals is 780.000 Euro.

 

Grants are dedicated to NGOs. More information about eligibility conditions for the applicant and partners can be found in the Guidelines for applicants.

For the Component 2 SOCIAL JUSTICE, the Application Procedure consists in 2 phases. In the first phase the Letters of Intent are expected, following that, in the second phase, only selected Letters of Intent should develope Applications.

An applicant organisation may submit a maximum number of 3 letters of intent under SOCIAL JUSTICE Component, out of which maximum 2 for one of the two Subcomponents

The Letters of Intent will be submitted online, according to the procedure described within the Applicants’ Guidelines.

Deadline for submitting the letters of intent is 12 of July, 2013.
